The Suds Story

At Selestial Soap, we hate suds. Suds leave a residue on fabric that attracts dirt and grease, dulls colors and affects breathability. The residue often contains chemicals that irritate skin and cause allergic reactions.

Suds in your washing machine cause drag during the spin cycle which slows down the rotation of the drum. The result is more water left in your fabrics and longer dry times - costing you time and money as well as wasting energy. Over time, suds can damage pumps and other parts of your washing machine leading to expensive repairs or equipment replacement. High efficiency washing machines are especially sensitive to sudsing which is one of the reasons they require different detergents.  

Detergent Residue Weighing You Down? 
Do your clothes look dingy and drab after a few wash cycles? Does that great, high-tech running outfit you love not really breathe anymore?  It's probably your detergent. Traditional detergents don't always rinse completely leaving behind a residue on fabrics that dulls colors, affects breathability. Those ingredients - standard ingredients in traditional detergents - cause fabrics to glow when viewed with nightvision equipment. Scientists have proven that animals and birds have sensitivity to ultraviolet light and wavelengths that humans are blind to. Using a detergent that contains phosphates and UV brighteners on your hunting clothing may make you visible to deer and other game animals. Selestial Soap does not contain phosphates or UV brighteners, so it is safe and effective to use on military and hunting clothing.
